About us
FAST was established in 2007 and is a UK-based organisation providing support to vulnerable families and individuals. We are publicly funded and receive campaigning support from a range of sources including the Home Office. All our services are totally free of charge and we treat everyone with respect.
In addition to helping many families who have had to come to terms with the trauma of their children travelling to conflict zones, we’re also here to help those whose loved ones may be about to plot, or commit, acts of terror in the UK.
In order to make sure your family gets the best possible help and advice, we will use external agencies where appropriate. These include scholars, advisors, the probation service and police, along with local council departments such as housing, employment and health agencies.
Your peace of mind is paramount, which is why we only ever use professionally trained staff to support the work we do. FAST is an independent organisation and we guarantee that everything that is discussed with us in groups, or on a one-to-one basis is 100% confidential.
We also provide a range of activities including classes on online safety, Arabic, sewing, keep fit and religious studies.
