Our Team

FAST was established by Saleha Jaffer, who has been central to the South London community for over 30 years, none more so than her recent role as Mayor of Lambeth (2016) and local councillor. She is one of the most prominent and respected members of the South Asian community and her knowledge of the issues that affect this community (and other vulnerable groups), relative to integration and participation in British society, is second to none.

The hugely dedicated practitioners Ruhamah Sonson and Moona Haque, who have been central to all of FAST’s work for the last five years, ably support Saleha and lead on much of the work directly.
